Everything the national library has catalogued.
Every line below is an entry in the catalogue of the German National Library. Title, date, publisher and identifiers appear exactly as the library holds them — nothing has been added, estimated or tidied up.
What the abbreviations mean
- DNB
- The German National Library. Its statutory mandate covers German and German-language publications as well as certain publications about Germany, including digital music releases. An entry there is a bibliographic record of the German National Library, not a freely created promotional profile.
- IDN
- The number under which the national library files a single record. With it, every entry here can be looked up directly in the library’s own catalogue.
- URN
- A permanent address. Unlike a web link it still points at the work after a site moves or disappears. It names the archived audio file, though, and the library serves that only at its reading-room computers in Leipzig and Frankfurt. What is freely readable is the catalogue record, and that is where the links on this site go.
- ISRC
- The international identifier of a single sound recording, assigned by its producer. It stays with the recording on every platform — which is what makes it possible to check whether two registers really mean the same track.
- UPC
- The barcode number of a release — the same kind of number printed on a CD case.
services.dnb.de/sru/dnb. It was taken over by machine rather than retyped — which is also why nothing appears here that is not there. The IDN of every entry takes you to the library’s own entry, so you can check any detail yourself — in the library’s own catalogue search ↗ too. The owner has checked 412 of the 413 entries and released them for indexing; 1 entry is still under review — publicly readable, but not released for indexing. What is released is the catalogue entry itself — not the claim that it belongs to a particular release on this site. How far the cataloguing has got
The artist’s own account publishes 481 recordings; the national library catalogues 413. Sorted by year the difference never explained anything — sorted by initial letter it explained itself for as long as the deposit was under way. The gap was made at deposit, not at cataloguing: the artist submitted his recordings in alphabetical order, and the catalogue now runs from A to Z. Only X holds no entry. The library registers what arrives, so the catalogue reflects the order of deposit. Six snapshots taken by this site catch it moving: on 4 August 2026 the holding stood in L, on 11 August past M into N, on 18 August past O into P, on 29 August past Q into R, on 11 September past S into T and on 24 September past U, V, W and Y to Z. There is no gap at the end of the alphabet any more. Counted by identifier, 69 recordings are still only on the platform, 60 of them with an ISRC assigned in 2026. That is no verdict on which recordings deserve cataloguing — whatever of them reaches the library will come as it comes.
So far that rests on snapshots taken by this site. The catalogue shows it without them. Every record names the issue of the Deutsche Nationalbibliografie that announced it — and the issues run through the alphabet in order: each one starts where the last stopped. That is the order of deposit, read off the library’s own numbering.
| Issue | Records | Letters |
|---|---|---|
| 26,O02 | 5 | A |
| 26,O03 | 20 | A–B |
| 26,O04 | 35 | A–D |
| 26,O05 | 40 | A–E |
| 26,O06 | 50 | B–G |
| 26,O07 | 29 | G–H |
| 26,O08 | 40 | H–L |
| 26,O09 | 95 | L–R |
| 26,O10 | 95 | R–Z |
For precision: 11 titles begin with THE and therefore sit under T in the letter chart above. Six of them were announced in the issue covering their second initial (C, F, J, L, P) — at deposit the article did not count. THE BOAT, by contrast, arrived with the T titles (26,O10): there the article counted. For THE TANGENCY, THE THING and THE TRACK both readings lead to the same letter. For THE UNFORGETTABLE SOUL both letters, T and U, fall inside the range of its issue (26,O10); which reading applied cannot be read from it. That is why the table gives each issue the range of its titles without an article. The MARC field for non-filing characters is 0 on all 413 records: the library files past no article — whether one counted was settled by the order of deposit. Besides them, 19 titles genuinely begin with T.
